Fishpond Game

Fishpond is a very popular game on birthday parties for kids in Sweden.  Its a way of getting your bag of candy when the party is ending.  This is the way it works: Hang a curtain in a dooropening. Make  a fishpole by using some pole at home (usually use the cleaning pole) with a string and a clothpin. You say Now its time for Fishpond!!" The kids stand in a line in front of the curtain and pull over the fishpole You are on the other side of the curtain When the fish bites they can pull up the catch (the candy bag).
