I submitted this idea earlier this month, but have a new email address.  Thanks   For my daughters 6th birthday party she decided to have UPS (United Parcel Service) party.  She came up with this idea because her dad works for UPS.     INVITES: I made invitations to look exactly like UPS labels including the bar codes.  The return address was the cross streets and address of the park. I wrote "Ship To: Brittany's 6th Birthday Bash" with the location, date, times, tracking RSVP phone number and the weight of 6 lbs.(for her age).  The labels were then put inside a clear UPS plastic label and mounted on brown construction paper which I printed "You're Invited..." on the top.  We hand delivered these in a UPS flat envelope.     DECOR: Our party supplies were gold and brown. We had a "UPS" logo photo cake. We had UPS balloons weighed down with UPS key chains. I also bought UPS plastic water bottles and wrote each child's name on them in brown marker.    GAMES: I had to make all of our game supplies.  We played pin the "P" on the UPS logo, swung at a brown UPS piñata, obstacle course, and relay race.  The relay race was a big hit.  The parents enjoyed watching this.  I had two brown UPS driver shirts, 2 hats and 2 UPS boxes.  The kids on each team took turns dressing in the browns and running while holding onto a box around a flag and then ran back and handed off the uniform/box to the next person. The kids looked like mini drivers!!  The piñata had the brown UPS logo painted on either side and then I outlined it in  gold glitter puffy paint. The kids hit the piñata with the brown painted stick that had "UPS"  scattered in matching gold puffy paint.  For the obstacle course/relay the kids first ran through UPS boxes (lined up how tire courses are) then ran around tube boxes (held up by flags), across the balance beam, through the box tunnel and back. For Pin the "P" on the UPS logo, I painted the logo on poster board and again outlined this in the gold puffy paint. I bought a brown bandana to use as the blindfold.  I had a huge box of misc. toys for prizes that the kids could choose from.  I made sure everyone got a prize even if they were not on a winning team.     GOODIE BOXES:  To top off the party, I arranged for a friend/fellow UPSer to delivery the goodie boxes and Brittany's birthday present in a UPS brown package delivery truck.  Everyone was so amazed especially the parents!! Our friend called out each child's name as he pulled out their box from the truck.   The kids were so excited to get a "package" from the UPS man.  The goodie box labels were identical to the invites except I put the child's name under "ship to" and the return address said "Thank you for coming to my party!"  I filled the boxes with UPS supplies that I bought from the employee website.  They included a coloring book, pencil, magnet, tattoo, box of Crayola crayons, and a Hershey's chocolate bar.  The wrapped  chocolate bar was covered in a homemade label I printed off the computer.  The front had a UPS logo  and "Thanks for coming to my party!!" The back said "UPS, What can BROWN do for you?" and "1-800-PICK-UPS"    THANK YOU'S: We took a picture of all the kids in front of the package truck.  I made the thank you cards out of brown construction paper and placed the group photo on the front with a gold bow and Brittany wrote inside each card.    This party was such fun for both the parents and kids.  I had comments like "How are we going to top this party!" and "How do we get on the list for next year!" I don't even know how I am going to top this one!
