Princess Cake

I wanted to do the birthday cake in the shape of a crown but, couldn't find a pan anywhere.  So, I improvised by blowing up the invitation I used on a copier and transferring the design to a peice of wax paper.  Then I baked a regular sheet cake after the cake cooled I placed the wax paper design on top of it and cut out the shape I wanted.  We decorated it with strawberry icing and multi colored sugar crystals for the jewels.  Since we had numerous guests we also made cupcakes and used the sugar crystals and food coloring to make them all look like different jewels.
